Anastasia
Anastasia is a brand new musical, based on the Russian legend of the Russian royal family, who were assassinated in 1918. The story goes that the young child, Anastasia, was spared by the guards. 10 years later a girl popped up, claiming the royal fortune - we are telling the story of what might have happened if she did survive.
The production will be presented as a workshopped performance - i.e. basic (or perhaps no) scenery, props, costumes etc, but aside from that it will be a full show, though only with piano accompaniment. Workshops are used for writers' benefits, so they can see their work in full and tweak any changes that are needed.
We are very excited about this show, which has gained recognition from John Cameron, who orchestrated Les Miserables, and is due to orchestrate our piece once the workshopping process is complete.
This will be the public's first ever chance to see this musical in its raw form, and is their chance to be involved with the process as we hope to use their feedback to make any improvements necessary.
Please Note: This performance has been moved from Friday 27th May to Monday 20th June 2011. Ticket dates transferred.
