Stags and Hens (The Remix)
1970s Liverpool: Linda and Dave are to be married and are out enjoying their last night of freedom – in the same nightclub! Chaos ensues amongst both the Stags and the Hens when Linda’s ex-boyfriend Peter (an aspiring musician) shows up. Is Linda having second thoughts about her marriage to Dave? Does she, as Dave’s mates suspect, still have a ‘thing’ for Peter? And will Dave ever recover from his drunken stupor and remove his head from inside the toilet?!
The play, by acclaimed Shirley Valentine and Blood Brothers playwright Willy Russell, premiered in 1978 but ‘The Remix’ is an updated version for modern audiences.
A fun-filled night at the theatre, delivering a hilarious look at men and women, marriage and morals!
