By Bus
The following buses pass the Theatre, stopping outside and opposite The Corner House:
38 Whickham View to Freeman Hospital
58 Heworth to Hadrian Park
16 City to 4 Lane Ends
18 Wallsend to Forest Hall
From the Haymarket Bus Station, City Centre:- 306, 308 and 309. (Stands L and M)
From the Coast:- 75, 76, 306, 308 and 309
By Metro:
Please note that the nearest Metro stations (Jesmond and Chillingham Road) are both more than a mile away and the buses which pass the theatre do not pass these stations.
If you use the Metro to come to Newcastle we advise that you alight at Central Station or Monument and catch the 38 bus or alight at Haymarket Metro Station and catch regular services 306, 308 or 309 from Haymarket Bus Station (Stands L and M).
By Car
Theatre car parks are on both sides of the theatre and can only be approached from the city-bound carriageway of the Coast Road (A1058). If you are coming out of the city use the Chillingham Road roundabout to turn back down onto the Coast Road.
Car Parking
Our car parks are not very large and you may have to park on one of the roads nearby. The best alternatives are Heaton Road or Newton Road (see the map below). Please do not park on Beatrice or Holderness Roads (either side of the theatre) which are narrow. Parking there is restricted to residents. IF PARKING ON NEWTON ROAD OR HEATON ROAD PLEASE TAKE CARE NOT TO RESTRICT ACCESS TO RESIDENTS' DRIVEWAYS.
