Description
Announcing a new series of poetry readings here at the People's in our Studio Theatre.
The first two readings will lead up to the Newcastle Poetry Festival 11th -13th May at Northern Stage and will showcase the creative role of poetry groups for writers, in line with the festival’s overall theme of Community.

John Challis’s first collection, The Resurrectionists, was published by Bloodaxe in 2021.
Peter Bennet’s New and Selected Poems, Nayler and Folly Wood is published by Bloodaxe this year.
Katharine Towers’ collection Oak was published by Picador in 2021.

Our Studio Theatre is on ground floor level and is wheelchair accessible.
