Description

This production is now showing a week later than was originally advertised.  All patrons who had already booked prior to this date change have been notified. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Let us transport you to the weird, faraway Discworld, where King Verence is to marry Magrat Garlick, a witch who's finding it rather awkward adpating to court life at Lancre Castle. But an incursion of elves from a parallel universe prompts an outbreak of mischief, involving trolls, morris dancers, and even the odd passing orang-utan.

We're no strangers to Discworld and this funny and fast-moving adaptation of (the much-missed) Sir Terry's fourteenth novel sees the welcome return of Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg to our stage.

"A proper, laugh-out-loud experience - Lords And Ladies holds court" - Man About Toon

"A blinding production ... incredible" - Spikemike

"People’s Theatre may be under a major redevelopment but it doesn’t stop them producing a great, fun production" - NE Theatre Guide

  • Running time: approx 2 hours (including an interval)
