As we ease out of restrictions, we know that everyone will be going at a different pace. To help you return to the People’s confidently, we have the option of a socially-distanced performance on Tuesday 23rd.
In booking for this socially-distanced performance you agree to adhere to our social-distancing measures which include wearing a mask at all times when in the building. This includes during the performance (unless you are exempt).
We are proud to be a See It Safely accredited venue, in association with Society of London Theatres and UK Theatre.
Miss Horrocks' class of seven-year-olds is about to perform their nativity play at Flint Street Junior School for the proud mums and dads - and the occasional social worker.
But squabbles arise when Gabriel wants to play Mary, the Star grumbles he's not a proper star like they have at NASA, Herod won't stop waving to his mum and dad and the subversive Innkeeper is determined to liven up the traditional script. And then the stick insect escapes ...
This warm, funny play makes ideal alternative seasonal fare, with original lyrics set to the tunes of traditional Christmas carols. Both the children and their parents are played by adults in this warm-hearted take on an annual rite of passage in British primary schools.
Adapted for the stage from Tim Firth’s 1999 hit ITV film comedy, it was first performed to critical acclaim at the Liverpool Playhouse in 2006.
This production is sponsored by Ethical Partnership.
This amateur production of “The Flint Street Nativity” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR TUESDAY 23rd:
This is a socially-distanced performance so we have divided our seating into blocks where there is no one sitting directly in front or behind you, and there is at least one seat between your party and the party next to you.
These blocks are divided into parties of one, two, three, four, five or six people. Unavailable seats show as grey.
When booking, please select a block that is the number of seats you require.
For example, if you are a party of two please select a block that is only two seats. Please do not book two seats in a block of three available seats. Our system will not automatically take off sale the seats around you.
If you require any assistance or have access requirements, please do not hesitate to give the Box Office a ring on 0191 265 5020 (option 2) or email email@example.com.
